A great turnout was the result of this year’s Georgia Peanut Festival in Sylvester. A new addition to this year’s festival, the Kidz Corner, had a lot to do with entire families spending the day at the event.
Northside Baptist Church allowed use of their parking and grounds for a large variety of free kids events including face painting, live entertainment, clowns, puppets, bouncy castles, and more. Worthit2u.net had a booth in the Kidz Corner along with Toni Starnes of Sylvester’s Hydroshock. Toni offered free face painting and we took free photos to email with a 2010 Georgia Peanut Festival tag to anyone who signed up.
We met a lot of great people at Saturday’s event and of course saw plenty of familiar faces as well. Vendors were set up around the park and live musical entertainment was performed throughout the day. The day started with the 5k Run at 7A.m. in which Sylvester Police Chief Alfred Anderson and members of SPD took part in. The Peter Pan Peanut Butter sponsored parade followed as hundreds lined the streets of Sylvester to watch. Scenes from the parade and festival are below:
We have Buddy The Bull our newest addition to our kiddy bouncer lineup arriving anyday now. This is a great unit for the toddler age children. Can be used indoors or outdoors, or added in conjunction with one of our commercial grade units so the little ones will have their own place to play. Rentals for the day start at only $60! Wow!
This post is proof your never to old for a Party! Sunshines Party Rentals brought out their new Wetslide for Dewaynes Birthday Party on July 24th. He turned the ripe old age of 41 years young! :)….Everyone including both adults and children had a wonderful time cooling off slipping and sliding on the great 16ft slide. We spun some cotton candy, ate lots of cake & hotdoggies, and best of all got to watch the Birthday Boy open his presents. Never to old for fun!

Things were hoppin for Sunshines Party Rentals this wonderful 4th of July weekend. We started in Albany at the Marine Corp Logistics Base celebrating with all the locals, military, veterans, and public. It was very exciting to look around at all the people and vendors who came out to support our troops. There was plenty of food, snow cones, Bouncy Houses, and even clowns imagine that. Heehehehehe. Sunshine and Who’ee the Clown were giving away patriotic stickers and lots of smiles. If you missed it this year be sure to attend next year. The fireworks display is awesome! Sunday we attended the Family Day for Heritage Life Church. This event was spectacular with many inflatables slides, Bounce houses, games, food, and even an inflatable movie screen where the children could gather and watch movies. The music and fellowship was amazing and we all had a great time. Thanks everyone for a wonderful 4th of July weekend!

Dingo The Dinosaur appeared last night at a Birthday Party. With approximately 20 children, a good time was had by all. We brought along the 20ft obstacle course, the Bouncy Castle, and a Bouncy Ball Pitt. Also Sunshine provided two hours of Balloon Twisting. I think it was as much fun for the adults as it was for the children. Our Hosts were gracious to offer us snow cones and drinks, they really saved the day! The Summer days can get very hot while entertaining and extra hot for the characters and clowns.
